Summer Beach Yoga Instructor (Seasonal / Part-Time)

Walnut Beach Wellness Center is a holistic, integrative wellness center located in Milford, CT. We specialize in a unique form of supportive and preventive care, utilizing a powerful range of techniques to identify, correct imbalances, and resolve chronic pain issues. Our practitioners have extensive backgrounds in the healthcare field to bring sustainable health and pain management. We take great pride and honor in providing effective healthcare to help our patients achieve a pain-free and healthy life.

We are hiring 1–2 seasonal yoga instructors for our Summer Beach Yoga Series at Walnut Beach.

We are looking for reliable, community-oriented instructors who can create an uplifting, welcoming experience for all levels.

POSITION DETAILS

• Saturdays only
• 8:00am–9:00am
• Summer season (June–September)
• Outdoor beach classes
• Independent contractor / part-time

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a safe, engaging all-levels yoga class
• Arrive early for setup and participant check-in
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere
• Support attendee retention and community growth
• Optional: promote classes on social media

QUALIFICATIONS

• Yoga teaching certification preferred
• Experience leading group classes
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable teaching outdoors

COMPENSATION

• $50 guaranteed base pay per class
• +$2 per attendee over 10 attendees
• Potential opportunities for workshops and collaborations
