Back Home Butchery – Denver, CO

Back Home Butchery is a local, family-run butcher shop specializing in Colorado raised meats and wild game processing. We are looking for motivated individuals with experience packaging meat; specifically identifying meat cuts, vac sealing, labeling, and following directions for specific packaging types. Ideal candidate would have availability in the afternoons, and would assist with packaging finished product for retail. Currently hiring for part time with full time availability for the right candidate.

Position: Part-Time Meat Packer
Pay: $19/hour starting
Hours: 10–20 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
Benefits: None at this time

Responsibilities:

• Package and organize retail and custom order meat packages
• Follow simple packaging directions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep and retail areas
• Assist with end of day cleanup
• Learn quickly and follow instruction

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience required (butchery experience preferred, not required)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs safely
