Operator - Coat

Job Description

This is an entry-level production role with no prior experience required where you will prepare parts for the coating process while following all production, quality, and safety standards. Responsibilities include inspecting parts for defects, cleaning and drying interior and exterior surfaces, hanging parts on an overhead trolley system, communicating issues to the supervisor or lead, following all OSHA and environmental requirements, learning and expanding skills in the role, and completing other tasks as assigned.

All 2nd shift candidates must be able to work on 1st shift for the first 4-8 weeks for training before moving to 2nd shift

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hrs. daily (Frequent standing, sitting, bending at the waist, and use of hands in this role is required)

• Must be able to work in a faced paced work environment

• Attention to detail is a must

• Specific vision abilities required to include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus

• Occasionally perform physical activities including lifting (up to 50 lbs. unassisted) - Prior coat/prep experience in a manufacturing environment
