The Division of Adult Institution is recruiting to fill a Corrections Security Director position. This position is based out of Oahkill Correctional Institution in Oregon, WI.
This position plans, implements, and coordinates the security program at Oakhill Correctional Institution (OCI) and UW-Hospital Secure Unit. This position assists in developing and directing their overall security program, including TLU, observation, and restrictive housing placement and is also responsible for all activities within the restrictive housing unit, with development, implementation, and monitoring of overall institution goals, policies, and procedures as part of the institution team. This position is also responsible for the security program for all areas of the institution and consults and makes recommendations to architects for new construction regarding security issues. This position assumes institution responsibility as directed by the Warden/Deputy Warden.
This position is in pay schedule/range 81-02 with an annual salary of $67371- $119350, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A 2-year Career Executive trial period is required.
