Student Support Coach (Grades K-6)

Slate Valley Unified School District is seeking a skilled individual who has a passion for supporting students socially, emotionally and behaviorally.

Position Objectives:

• Support the implementation of school-wide, classroom, and individual behavioral expectations across all environments.
• Facilitate and support student problem solving, conflict resolution, restorative practices, community service, restitution, and student-to-student mediation.
• Be familiar with functions of behavior, the implementation of behavior support plans, and be able to navigate the behavioral data within our Educlimber system.
• Work collaboratively with Social Emotional Interventionists, 504 & EST Coordinators to develop and implement proactive support plans for students needing instruction and reinforcement with self-regulation and social skills.

Bachelor's Degree preferred, with experience in de-escalation skills, restorative and trauma-informed practices.

Salary range is $20.62 - $27.40, based on experience.
