SALARY: $90,000 - $110,000

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:

We need an experienced sales professional who is energetic, forward-thinking, and self-assured, with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. Experience with sales and/or sales engineering will be a definite asset. We have a heavy presence in the electric utility industry and individuals with utility and/or heavy industrial, are strongly encouraged to apply.
As a Manufacturers’ Representative, you will maintain and continue to sell our existing products and identify sales opportunities with new accounts. You will demonstrate that you know the product and have the technical skills and knowledge our customers expect. You will work independently, efficiently, and be goal-directed. In your job description, here is what it says you will do:

  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with electric utility, commercial, and industrial customers in Michigan
  • Maintain positive relations with our represented manufactures
  • Identify and promote strategic growth opportunities within the industry
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and continuing source of product information for assigned customers
  • Provide regular feedback and reports regarding account performance
  • Prepare and present professional sales presentations
  • Attend conferences and trade shows for maximum exposure of company product and capabilities as well as assisting in setups and teardowns when needed
  • Stay informed of changes in the industry, including trends, new products, and changes in regulations
  • Troubleshoot issues to a successful resolution for the customer
  • Occasional out of state travel for industry trade shows, plant visits, etc.

THESE ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We need a college graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering, utility or industrial sales, or related field. Selling engineering, electric utility or industrial sales experience is preferred.

You can be successful if you have excellent communication skills, energy, and a positive attitude, if you are well-organized and self-directed with the desire to be part of an ethical work team, and if you are skilled with computers, including Microsoft Office 365, Email, and Internet.
