Compensation: Base salary starting at $75,000.00 annually

Graff, Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in our Minnetonka, MN office. In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals, providing essential support for all accounting functions. The Tax Staff Accountant will assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other accounting-related tasks, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Preparation of business and individual income tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll filings, including 1099s.
• Prepare tax projections and planning for clients.
• Provide accounting services and accounting support for clients.
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Identify and research tax issues applicable to client transactions.
• Correspond with government agencies regarding client tax notifications.
• Support other related, varying needs of the firm as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required:
• o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Preferred:

o Familiarity with business tax preparation (1065, 1120, 1120S).o Experience preparing 1099s, W2s, 944s, 941s, 940s, MN W/H, and SUTA filings.

o Knowledge of MN Sales & Use Tax Returns.
o Ability to analyze financial statements.
o Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
o Proficient in individual income taxation.

o Experience providing tax research support.

o Familiarity with Lacerte Tax Software is a plus.

o Strong problem-solving skills.
o Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate.

o Enrolled Agent.
