About the Job:
The McGovern Lab in the Neurosurgery Department is recruiting a highly motivated and organized individual for a Research Coordinator role to support our growing research portfolio. The McGovern lab studies refractory (untreatable) gait and balance problems in patients with Parkinson's disease and normal pressure hydrocephalus. There is also a strong focus on patients suffering from medication refractory epilepsy. This role will assist the research team in coordination of both current and future clinical trials in the lab. Typical days will entail coordinating study visits, seeing patients for study activities, updating study logs, making necessary study modifications, and routine processing of and rudimentary analysis of collected data.
Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position, Monday - Friday, allowing some remote work, but this individual is expected to spend the majority of their time on campus and at participating sites. Must be willing to work outside of normal office hours for late and early participant visits. Must be willing to travel for participant visits outside of the metropolitan area.
