Maintenance Technician

job summary:
Maintenance Technician needed for a heavy industry client in the Charleston area. Looking for someone who has no issues working a rotating shift and long hours. Need someone who is hands with electro mechanical skills. Bonus would be anyone who has experience with industrial cranes. Salary for this role will be based on experience.

responsibilities:

• Maintain all plant mobile equipment and overhead traveling cranes.
  
  
• Preventive maintenance on equeipment, order parts, prepare work orders, and ensure safety.
  
  
• Ability to work rotating shift, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with VFDs, AC motors, and motor controls
  
  
• Mechanical power transmission and machine alignment
  
  
• Fluid power systems
  
  
• Diesel engine / Automotive repair
  
  
• Experience with PLCs
