Summary of
Position The EVSE Workforce Navigator supports the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Technician Training
Program at Red Rocks Community College. This program prepares technicians to install, commission, and maintain electric vehicle charging
infrastructure across residential, commercial, and public charging networks.Working closely with the Director of Workforce Services and EVSE
Program Principal Investigator, the Navigator supports recruitment, student success, employer engagement, workforce research, and program
outcome tracking tied to the EVSE training program.The Navigator helps translate grant funding into a functioning workforce ecosystem by
connecting training, students, employers, and workforce partners. Responsibilities include community outreach, participant intake and
support, career navigation, employer engagement, research on regional workforce needs, and tracking workforce outcomes.This position
supports Colorado's transportation electrification strategy and clean energy workforce goals by helping prepare industry-ready EV
infrastructure technicians and connecting graduates to employment opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess and be at ease
with the following:
* Conducting community outreach and recruitment to build participation in EVSE workforce training
* Supporting
student intake, enrollment, and onboarding processes
* Providing student support to increase training completion and reduce barriers to
participation
* Conducting research on workforce trends, employer needs, and EV infrastructure workforce demand
* Assisting
participants with resume preparation, interview readiness, and career navigation
* Coordinating employer engagement activities such as
guest speakers, job site visits, and hiring events
* Supporting partnerships with electrical contractors, utilities, EV charging
companies, and workforce organizations
* Tracking program data including enrollment, completion rates, credential attainment, and
employment outcomes
* Supporting documentation and reporting required for grant accountability
* Working collaboratively with
instructors, workforce partners, and program leadership
This position is funded through the EVSE workforce grant to support recruitment,
student navigation, workforce research, employer engagement, and outcome tracking necessary to successfully implement the EVSE training
program and achieve the state's workforce development goals related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Continued employment is
contingent upon the renewal of grant funding.
This position can work 28 hours a week,up to nine months, based on need and budget
availability.
Qualifications Required Qualifications- Associates
degree from an accredited institution
- Experience in student support, career navigation, or program coordination
- Strong
communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to conduct research and gather workforce or employer
information
- Ability to support diverse and underserved populations entering workforce training
- Organizational skills and
ability to track program data and activities
- Ability to work collaboratively with program staff, employers, and community
partners
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with workforce training programs or grant-funded
workforce initiatives
- Familiarity with economics, clean energy, electrical trades, or technical workforce
programs
- Experience conducting outreach and recruitment within community or workforce organizations
- Experience supporting
job placement, apprenticeships, or career pathway programs
- Experience collecting or reporting on program

- Occasionally moves, positions, and transports files and office materials weighing up to 10 lbs.
- This is largely a sedentary role. This position operates in an office environment and constantly uses a computer, and routinely
uses standard office equipment including phones, copiers, etc.
- The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and
external constituents and students. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Cognitive demands include
comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal
skills.

Advertised Hourly Pay The
compensation for this position is $23.00 hourly commensurate with education and experience. This is a
grant-funded,
part-time, FLSA non-exempt temporary staff position. Continued employment is contingent upon the renewal of grant funding. This
position can work up to nine months, based on need and budget availability. This position has been exempted from the State Classified
System.
