In-House Counsel

Credit Collections Bureau is seeking an additional in-house counsel member to join our Sioux Falls, SD office. For nearly 40 years, CCB has been a trusted leader in collections in the Midwest. We help clients across multiple states recover accounts with professionalism, integrity, and strict compliance. What we’re looking for:

**Collaborative team player who can effectively & professionally communicate with all staff**

• 0–3 years of legal experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• License to practice in South Dakota—or eligible and willing to become licensed in South Dakota.
• Motivation to obtain a North Dakota license (and potentially additional states) as your role grows.
• Represent CCB & our clients in court for disputed small claims, civil, and district court matters.
• Conduct efficient legal research and clearly summarize findings and recommendations.
• Draft, file, and defend civil litigation pleadings with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Work across civil litigation and business/transactional matters—an uncommon opportunity to build a well-rounded practice.
• Desire to develop deep expertise in healthcare collections and the laws and regulations that govern the industry.
• Comfortable receiving guidance from Senior Counsel and executive leadership, with a strong interest in coaching and professional development.
