Middle School Math Specialist (Part-Time)Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional SchoolCranston, Rhode IslandImmaculate Conception Catholic Regional School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Middle School Math Specialist to join our learning community for the upcoming school year. This is a part-time position (approximately 24 hours per week) focused on supporting students in Grades 58 through targeted mathematics instruction and intervention.The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build confidence and mastery in mathematics through small-group instruction, differentiated support, and strong foundational teaching practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide math support and intervention services for students in Grades 58Teach small-group instruction in: Core middle school math contentPre-AlgebraAlgebraSupport students in developing foundational computational skills, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving strategiesCollaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support student growth and achievementUse assessment data to identify student needs and provide targeted instructionFoster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environmentQualificationsBachelors degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related fieldTeaching certification preferredExperience working with middle school studentsStrong understanding of middle school math curriculum, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra instructionAbility to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needsStrong communication and collaboration skillsCommitment to the mission and values of Catholic educationAbout ICCRSAt Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School, we are committed to Growing Greatness in mind, heart, body, and soul.
