Special Education Instructional Specialist (2026-2027 school year)

Job Description

The ideal candidates would have a minimum of five years experience in Special Education and possess strong collaborative skills. Additional qualifications preferred are: ability to analyze and interpret evaluation information to support the development of instructional programming for a wide range of unique learner profiles.knowledge of special education regulations and procedures.strong interpersonal skills for mentoring/coaching teachers.comfort level with providing professional development presentations on a range of topics.knowledge of best instructional practices for PreK-12 learning trajectories across content areas.strong organizational, time management skills.innovative, flexible, 'big picture/small picture' thinker.Salary and benefits: As per Teachers collective agreement. Must have, or be eligible for, appropriate Vermont Special Education K-12 licensure.
