The Town of Londonderry is seeking intelligent, motivated applicants for the position of Police Officer. The Town offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The position requires shift work, including nights, weekends and holidays.
TESTING DATE & LOCATION
Now accepting applications for candidates for the position of Full-Time Police Officer with the Londonderry Police Department. Candidates must successfully pass the Written Exam (min. 70%) and Physical Test being conducted by the Londonderry Police Department on Saturday May 30, 2026, at 9:00am.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The police officer shall be responsible for the enforcement of the applicable laws of the State of New Hampshire and applicable ordinances of the Town of Londonderry. He/She shall patrol the Town of Londonderry by foot or cruiser, regulate traffic, investigate and report criminal acts when discovered, investigate accidents, and file appropriate reports as prescribed by Departmental Rules, Regulations, Procedures, and/or superior officers. He/She shall also be responsible for other duties as assigned.

TATTOO POLICY
The Londonderry Police Department prohibits tattoos on a person's hands, neck or face and "sleeves" on one's arm are permitted. Exemptions may be made on a case-by-case basis and as approved by the Chief of Police. For example, a tattoo of a ring on a person's ring finger would likely be waived by the Chief of Police. Please consult with Sgt. Duguay for review and do not withdraw from our process based on your own if you have a tattoo that may violate our policy.
