In this role, you’ll build and grow a portfolio of business clients, deepen relationships, and connect customers with the right banking solutions. - Manage and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships with annual revenues up to $5MM.
- Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth through proactive business development and client retention strategies.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored banking solutions, including treasury management, wealth management, and capital markets services.
- Analyze financial information and collaborate with Portfolio Managers to structure and recommend credit solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients, prospects, and centers of influence to expand market share.
- Identify customer needs and connect clients with specialized banking partners and resources.
- Mentor and support junior Relationship Managers in prospecting, relationship building, and sales development.
- Represent Associated Bank in the community through networking events, business groups, and local organizations.
Education & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, business-to-business sales, or relationship management.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and financial analysis skills.
Preferred
- Experience managing commercial or small business banking portfolios.
- Knowledge of commercial lending, treasury management, and cross-functional banking solutions.
- Experience developing referral networks and community partnerships.
