Through Leading Youth Through Empowerment, this member will support efforts to strengthen the museum’s digital presence, audience engagement strategies, and communication infrastructure. The member will assist in developing social media systems, content planning tools, analytics processes, accessibility practices, and training resources that improve consistency, sustainability, and community engagement across digital platforms.
Member Duties : Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the museum’s mission and audiences. Create and organize content calendars and planning systems that support consistent digital engagement. Develop reusable content templates, branding guidelines, and messaging frameworks for staff and future contributors. Support the creation of standard operating procedures for social media management and engagement. Assist in developing analytics tracking systems and reporting tools to evaluate audience growth and engagement. Conduct research on best practices and trends in museum and nonprofit digital engagement. Support accessibility and inclusivity efforts in digital content, including captioning and alt text practices. Assist in building digital partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities with community organizations. Contribute to the development of training materials and guidance that strengthen long-term sustainability of social media efforts.
