Job DescriptionFor Fall 2024, we are looking for an instructor to teach CRIM 210 Criminal Law either on the Harrogate campus or online via Canvas. For Spring 2025 we are looking for an instructor to teach CRIM 220 Intro to Courts either on the Harrogate campus or online via Canvas.Required QualificationsMasters degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or closely related subject; teaching experience.Preferred QualificationsTerminal Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or closely related subject.Campus: Harrogate

- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students
- comply with the university Faculty/Staff Policy Manual;
- submit textbook requests;
- comply with announced requirements;
- appropriately align course syllabi goals and objectives to academic major program goals and student outcomes for each course taught;
- develop a current syllabus for each assigned class and distribute a course syllabus to each student;
- submit a current copy of each syllabus to the department chair by a predetermined deadline;
- evaluate enrolled students and submit grades to the Registrar by a predetermined deadline;
- assure completion of the student course evaluation instrument for the semester as requested;
- participate in the faculty evaluation process and use the results to improve teaching and strengthen the major;
- perform other duties as assigned within the scope of current position.
