We are actively seeking an experienced math teacher for potential openings within the Middle School (grades 6-8). Candidates must have a strong understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of middle school students, and a passion for working with this age group during a critical stage of development. Ideal candidates will bring both a deep understanding of mathematics instruction and a commitment to helping students build confidence, problem solving skills, and conceptual understanding in a rigorous and supportive learning environment.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
Experience with project-based learning, Responsive Advisory, differentiated instruction, and student-centered instructional practices is preferred. Experience teaching middle school math courses such as pre algebra, algebra, and geometry is also desirable. A master’s degree and prior middle school teaching experience are preferred.
