Job Description
Insight Global's client an automotive supplier supporting major OEM assembly plants. They design, fabricate, manufacture, ship, and repair material-handling equipment across multiple production lines. They are seeking a Financial Analyst with light Accounts Receivable exposure to support analysis, reporting, and operational decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is analysis-focused (approx. 80%) with limited AR responsibilities (approx. 20%), working closely with Operations, Parts Procurement, Pricing, and Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support operations, pricing, and procurement decisions
Partner closely with Operations and Parts teams to analyze quantities, part numbers, cost drivers, and pricing accuracy
Support Accounts Receivable activities, including walking large OEM payments through internal systems and resolving discrepancies
Interface with major automotive customers (e.g., Stellantis, Ford Motor Company, General Motors) regarding billing and payments
Analyze high-volume, detail-heavy data sets involving long part numbers and complex transactions
Support leadership including President, VP, AP, and AR with timely financial insights
Contribute to month-end reporting and ongoing process improvements
Work within Oracle and/or NetSuite (or similar ERP environments)

Skills and Requirements
Experience as a Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst, or Accounting/Finance professional with strong analytical exposure
Background in automotive, manufacturing, or OEM/supplier environments
Strong Excel skills required: XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data pulls, analysis
Exceptional attention to detail, especially with complex part numbers and transactional data
Experience participating in calls with internal teams and external customers
Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, or large enterprise ERP systems
Ability to work fully onsite in Redford, MI
