Job Description
An employer is seeking a highly skilled Jr UX Researcher to join one of our largest national financial services clients. In this role you'll join a growing research team of about 15 individuals (1 service designer, 5 other UX researchers and 8 designers / capability owners). This client is currently working to reprioritize their 5 priority pillars, which are:
Ultra-High Net Worth
Banking & Lending
Advisor & Client Platforms
Foundations (Data Operations, Backend processes)
New Client Onboarding.
In this role you'll help this client scale their capacity to generate, organize and share insights across the organization. You'll partner closely with the UXR team which will include collaborating cross functionally across the enterprise to ensure the right insights reach the right people at the right time. To be successful on this team you must be organized and passionate about turning raw data into compelling stories that inform business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Insights & Reporting:
Build and maintain dashboards in Dovetail to surface themes, patterns, and findings from ongoing research
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, digestible insight reports tailored to different stakeholder audiences
Proactively share findings with product, marketing, and other partner teams, ensuring insights are actionable and accessible
Research Repository & Data Organization:
Own the organization and hygiene of our Dovetail research repository - tagging, categorizing, and linking data so it's discoverable across the org
Maintain a consistent taxonomy and naming system to make past research easy to find and reuse
Identify gaps in existing research coverage and flag them to the broader team
Lightweight Research Execution:
Design and launch surveys using tools like Qualtrics or similar platforms
Conduct moderated user interviews with guidance and support from senior researchers
Assist with recruiting, scheduling, and logistics for research studies
Synthesize findings from studies you run and package them for team review

Skills and Requirements
1-5 years of experience in UX research, market research, or a related field (internships and academic work count)
Familiarity with Dovetail or similar research repository tools; willingness to become a power user
Experience designing and analyzing surveys; interview experience is a plus
Strong written communication skills - you know how to write a clear takeaway
Detail-oriented with a knack for organizing information in ways that make sense to others
Collaborative and proactive; comfortable working in a cross-functional environment Prior experience working within a highly regulated environment, such as financial services, banking or healthcare
