Job Title: Senior Cost Analyst Colecraft Commercial Furnishings Department: Finance Reports to: COO Role Summary The Senior Cost Analyst This role is responsible for the integrity of our cost accounting system, driving profitability initiatives across the organization. identifying structural cost-saving opportunities and ensuring our pricing models align with real-world manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain cost models for Colecrafts engineer to order custom projects to ensure accurate bidding and margin protection. Lead Variance Investigation: Investigate variance issues in labor efficiency, material yields, and overhead absorption, and work with management to resolve them. ERP Optimization: As it relates to refining job order costing modules. Identify areas to Improve data accuracy and reporting speed. Inventory Governance: In participation with Colecrafts Director of Materials oversee the annual physical inventory process and quarterly audits. Develop strategies to reduce carrying costs and minimize obsolete inventory. Profitability Leadership: Provide reporting on product line and customer profitability. Identify underperforming areas and recommend strategic pivots. Experience 5 + years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance. Must have a proven track record of driving measurable cost reductions. Technical Mastery: o Expert-level Excel (VBA, Macros, and financial modeling). o Experience with Job Order Costing and manufacturing-ERP systems. o Understanding of GAAP as it relates to inventory and manufacturing. Education: AAS, BS degree in accounting or finance. Salary and Benefits Base Salary $50,000-70,000 Generous Benefits Package including Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation and more.
