Full Time Caregiver

Overview
Family seeking a full time, live-in caregiver for 38-year-old son.

Location is Kinderhook Lake - Niverville, NY.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM wake-up - 8:00 PM / 8:30 PM bed time (a fair amount of downtime during day shifts).

Occasional, optional weekend work may be available.

Compensation is $150/day or $750/week. Housing (private bedroom and living space) and food will be provided for the caregiver by the family, at no cost to caregiver.

Applicant are required to have a valid driver’s license and a car.

Core Caregiver Responsibilities include:

• Personal Care (ADLs): Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help with walking, transferring from bed/wheelchair, and repositioning.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals, follow dietary restrictions, and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support, engaging conversation, and join in activities/hobbies.
• Household Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, dishes) to maintain a safe environment.
• Transportation/Errands: Drive to medical appointments or social events.
• Monitoring & Documentation: Observe and report changes in physical or mental health to supervisors/family.
