Pharmacist

Helix Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and personalized service. We are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team and help us continue delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, and appropriateness
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and health management
• Provide immunizations and other pharmacy clinical services
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and inventory management
• Deliver excellent customer service in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of NY
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Immunization certification preferred
• Prior retail or community pharmacy experience preferred but not required
