What the Job Is

You are the diagnostic authority in our shop. Every transmission that comes through our doors gets evaluated by you first. You road test, run line pressure tests, perform stall speed analysis, interrogate electronic control systems, and interpret live scan data. You identify the exact root cause — hydraulic, mechanical, or electronic — every time. You write it up clearly and brief the rebuild team so it gets fixed right the first time.

What You Will Do

• Road testing, line pressure testing, stall speed analysis, and electronic control system interrogation
• Interpret live scan data, fault codes, and solenoid performance metrics
• Accurately differentiate between hydraulic circuit, mechanical, and electronic control failures
• Produce precise diagnostic reports with clear root cause identification
• Brief rebuild technicians on findings to ensure accurate first-time repairs
• Maintain current knowledge across domestic, import, late-model electronic, and CVT platforms

What We Need

• 5+ years of professional transmission diagnostic experience — required
• Advanced proficiency with Snap-on, Autel, Launch, or equivalent scan tools
• Deep knowledge of automatic transmission hydraulics, clutch apply logic, and electronic control architecture
• Hands-on experience with line pressure testing, stall speed analysis, and solenoid diagnostics
• ASE A2, T-Series, or ATD certification — required
• Valid driver's license — required

• Lead or high-producing tech — $44–$55/hr

• Automotive Transmission Rebuild Specialist — $36–$55/hr + sign-on bonus Experienced rebuild tech needed for full teardown-to-assembly operations on automatic and manual transmissions. Clutch packs, valve bodies, gear sets, solenoids, hard parts. 3+ years rebuilding experience required. ASE A2 or T-Series preferred.
• Automotive Torque Converter Machinist — Competitive pay + sign-on bonus Precision machinist needed for full torque converter teardown, inspection, balancing, welding, and reassembly. Experience with lock-up converters, pump assemblies, and stator components required. Must be comfortable working to tight tolerances independently.
• Automotive Shop Maintenance Technician — $20/hr + weekly bonuses Keep our shop clean, safe, and organized every day.
