THE OPPORTUNITY Join us on Haycocks Farm as a Stock Manager, you will work closely with a supportive farm manager in planning and executing farming operations and pasture management to optimise and improve operational processes and animal performance. You will be working closely within a high performing team of eight, who value communication and collaboration. You will enjoy variety in your work, as your days could include anything from; stock shifts, break fencing, measuring pasture, feeding calves or any other farm tasks, along with the responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely stock data records and reporting, and managing farm data records in Farm IQ. Your knowledge in growing young stock, best practice animal health standards and feed budgeting will be highly valued. THE FARM Haycocks Station is in the Mavora Valley 40 km from Te Anau and an hour and a half from either Invercargill or Queenstown. We’re a 6,500 effective ha livestock property running 40,000 su including deer, sheep and cattle.
