Service manager

Diesel-Tech Machinery is looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our Rangiora branch service department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about customer service, workshop efficiency, and leading a high-performing team within the agricultural and machinery industry. About the Role As Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Managing the daily operations of the workshop and service department • Leading, mentoring, and motivating our service team • Coordinating service schedules, workflow, and resources efficiently • Ensuring machinery servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard • Building strong relationships with customers and providing outstanding support • Monitoring productivity, job progress, and workshop performance • Working closely with technicians, parts, and management teams What we’re looking for: • Strong leadership and communication skills • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities • Experience in the agricultural, automotive, or heavy machinery industry preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities • A customer-first attitude and commitment to quality service Why Join Diesel-Tech Machinery?
