Part Time Office Assistant

Job Description

Voorhees Insurance is excited to announce a new chapter under new ownership! While Mark and Kay Voorhees have officially retired, our office location, familiar service, and commitment to our community will remain the same. We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Office Assistant to join our growing agency.

Position Details:

  • Part-time – 16 hours per week (Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST)
  • Starting pay: $15/hour
  • Opportunity for increased hours and pay after 90 days based on performance and growth

Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Collecting customer payments
  • Gathering quote information for new business opportunities
  • Assisting with customer service requests
  • Scheduling and organizing office tasks
  • Basic office upkeep and organization
  • Filing, data entry, and other administrative support duties

Qualifications:

  • Insurance license is NOT required
  • Office experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dependable and professional attitude
  • Looking for someone interested in growing into a long-term role with a growing agency
