We are seeking a highly experienced Senior C# Developer (Senior Software Engineer II) to join a globally distributed engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in designing and developing a shared, cross-platform software library that powers hearing aid communication and configuration across desktop, mobile, and web applications.
This position requires deep technical expertise in C# and .NET, strong architectural ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with US-based and global teams in a highly quality-driven environment.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum 10 years of professional experience on software engineering teams developing shared, production-grade .NET class libraries or SDKs in C#
Proven ability to drive architectural decisions by leading teams in evaluating complex technical tradeoffs
Proven people leadership experience, including interviewing, mentoring, and developing engineers toward greater ownership and impact
Deep expertise in C# and modern .NET
Proven experience working in a product-based company
Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to clearly express and understand complex technical concepts in a US-based engineering environment
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with US-based engineers and cross-functional product development partners
Own the architecture, design, and implementation of new features in a cross-platform C#/.NET library that powers hearing aid communication and configuration
Drive long-term evolution of the library's API surface, compatibility, and performance
Write clear, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
Develop performance-sensitive algorithms where correctness and efficiency are critical - Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) client development on Windows or Linux
Experience building libraries for device communication, including connection management and control via BLE (USB radios, hardware APIs, etc.)
Exposure to embedded BLE firmware development, including GATT implementation and device communication protocols
Experience working on performance-sensitive systems, particularly within resource-constrained environments
Background in connected devices, embedded systems, or medical device environments
