Director of Pharmacy – Behavioral Health

We are currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy for an 8-week contract assignment in Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with management experience who enjoys hands-on operations, inventory oversight, and clinical order verification.

Position Overview

• Position: Director of Pharmacy
• Assignment Length: 8 Weeks Contract
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
• Saturdays: Remote coverage from 9:00am – 11:00am
• Setting: Behavioral Health
• Pay Rate: $65/hour
• System: HCS
• Automation: Omnicell
• Travel candidates welcome
• Preferred Hotel: Home2 Suites by Hilton

Key Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Oversee pharmacy inventory management and medication supply
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and facility standards
• Support pharmacy operations in a behavioral health environment
• Work independently in a setting without technician support
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Pharmacist License required
• Previous Pharmacy Management experience required
• Omnicell experience preferred
• HCS experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
