School Van Driver

The Covenant School of Bridgeport is seeking a dependable, caring, and safety-minded van driver to transport students to and from school and school-related activities using the School owned 12 passenger van.

This is an excellent opportunity for a responsible adult who enjoys working with young people and wants to support a mission-driven school community.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment in the vehicle
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance concerns
• Arrive consistently and on time for scheduled routes
• Occasionally assist with transportation for field trips, athletic events, or special activities

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut driver’s license with “V” endorsement and clean driving record
• Ability to meet all Connecticut student transportation requirements
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and communication skills
• Experience working with children or schools preferred
• Background check required

Schedule

Part-time position with morning and afternoon routes during the school year through mid-July. Additional hours may be available for athletics, trips, and special events.
