Accounting Manager

Are you a process-driven leader ready to take the reins of a high-volume accounting department? We are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee our full AP/AR cycle, mentor a dedicated team, and modernize our financial workflows. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a key role in optimizing our ERP systems and ensuring the highest level of fiscal accuracy. Responsibilities

• Departmental Leadership: Directly supervise the AP/AR team, overseeing the full accounting cycle and managing employee development, hiring, and performance evaluations.
  
  
• Operational Oversight: Coordinate all monthly AP and AR activities to ensure timely closing, accurate payment documentation, and strict compliance with internal controls.
  
  
• Resolution Management: Act as the lead liaison between vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve complex billing, shipping, and return discrepancies.
  
  
• Process Optimization: Identify systemic inefficiencies and implement modern workflow improvements to enhance the accuracy and speed of the accounting department.
  
  
• Strategic Reporting: Compile and analyze financial data for management and third parties, supporting the Controller with special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  
  
• Technical Stewardship: Maintain and troubleshoot ERP/accounting systems while utilizing advanced Excel skills to manage data integrity and reporting.
