and making a real difference in the life of someone in your community! Hello! I am a female member of the Wausau Community. I am urgently hiring a Direct Care Advocate to join my care team. As a Direct Care Advocate, you will provide personal care and household support within my home. This role is vital in promoting my health, safety, and well-being and it supports me to live the most independent life I can. This position is a direct hire role with no agency involvement. A little about me- I used to be a chef, and I enjoy crafting and car racing. I appreciate individuals who are responsible, dedicated and who are looking for a long-term caregiving role. Here is what I need help and support with- Personal hygiene (bed baths, skin care, dressing) Incontinence care (utilizing a bed pan) Light housekeeping (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, linen changes as needed) Cooking and preparing snacks Occasional errands Organize spaces within the home Build connection and companionship Compensation- \$17.32-\$18.50 per hour Schedule- I need care and support 7 days a week 7 :00AM- 9:00 AM 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM \Please note the shifts times are flexible\ I am looking for the following qualities- Compassionate and caring approach to caregiving Strong communication skills Punctual and dependable Reliable transportation is a must Prior caregiving experience is a PLUS, but I am willing to train the RIGHT person!
