Tech Depot - Student Worker
Start Date: June 8, 2026

Salary: Starting salary is $11.41 per hour
Work Week:
Expect 7-8 hours per week, additional hours are possible

General Definition of Work:
Initial week will involve moving technology equipment in buildings to prepare for construction projects. Following the initial week students will mostly be working with Chromebooks, un-boxing and preparing them for next year. Other tasks may include cleaning Chromebooks and performing basic chromebook checks to look for issues with returned equipment. Additional projects will also include setup of PCs and equipment in preparation for the 26-27 school year. Provide set up assistance at multiple locations in the district.
Qualification Requirements:
Must be 14 years of age or older by June 8, 2026, and eligible to work in the United States. Preference will be given to White Bear Lake School Students.

Essential Functions:
Detail oriented and able to sustain interest in repetitive tasks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General ability to communicate both in written and oral form, follow step-by-step directions, and work independently on sustained tasks.
Education and /or Experience:
Completion of 8th Grade.
Membership in school year Tech Depot preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, speaking or hearing and reaching with hands and arms, frequently requires using hands to finger, handle or feel, pushing or pulling and lifting and occasionally requires climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, tasting or smelling and repetitive motions; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, assembly or fabrication of parts within arms length, operating machines and observing general surroundings and activities
