Excavator/truck operator

The Opportunity / Role: Professional Excavation Ltd is a dynamic New-Plymouth based company, looking for great people with proven experience in the civil construction industry. We are growing! Due to increased workload, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Excavator and Truck Operator. We need someone motivated and self-led, who understands opportunities, is committed to safe working practices, and can lead others. An understanding of civil construction projects and how to get them done is essential. Key skills and attributes: Minimum 3 years experience operating civil construction or heavy machinery Relevant NZ licence and WTR endorsements Mechanical aptitude: excellent attitude toward the maintenance and care of vehicles, plant and equipment Embraces a culture of continuous improvement through incremental TDI (Tiny Daily Improvements) A strong commitment to safe working practice and team culture Reliable, enthusiastic, solution-focused attitude. Good level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role.
