Position Title: Kitchen Manager

Position Summary
The Kitchen Manager oversees all back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality, kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, safety compliance, and team performance. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and hands-on culinary management experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and workflow
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs, waste, and labor expenses
- Enforce health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service
- Resolve kitchen issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary
- Support hiring and performance management of kitchen employees
Qualifications
- 2+ years of kitchen management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with inventory and cost control preferred
