DESCRIPTION

Dansville Athletics is seeking a Girls’ Sideline Cheer coach who is responsible for building and maintaining a successful Sideline Cheer Program. The coach will support student achievement and help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethic, and an increased level of self-esteem. The desired candidate understands the positive effects athletics have on the education of student athletes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High School Graduate, post-secondary training preferred
• Former cheerleader and/or prior cheer coaching experience
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred
• CAP 1 or 2 training preferred
• Ability to lead, mentor and motivate student athletes
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

Determined by Schedule B of Master Agreement
