Position Overview
The Project Superintendent will oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing crews, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of traffic, construction, roadway, and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with traffic signal systems, roadway lighting, and signing is highly desired.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with union construction work and practices is preferred.
