Description:

• An opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to work onsite in the Bronx, NY.
• This contract position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• The role involves evaluating and treating students to promote rehabilitation and independence in daily living skills for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Requirements:

• Evaluate students to determine learning and performance capabilities.
• Develop treatment plans based on assessments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews.
• Document therapy activities and results.
• Refer students to other clinical services when appropriate.
• Design and fit adaptive devices for student use.
• Provide supervision to students and Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current NYS license in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 Year of prior Occupational Therapist experience preferred.
