Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated mid-senior Embedded Software Developer to join a large medical device client in the Pittsburgh area. This person should have strong C/C++ firmware development background within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hands-on functional and technical aspects of the SDLC, including design and development, as well as testing and de-bugging.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years' experience as a full lifecycle embedded software developer from gathering requirements, design, resource monitoring, testing, and de-bugging
C/C++ proficiency for core programming
Technical understanding of developing software on a real-time operating system/ARM processor/development on true hardware
Proven experience in code reviews, performance optimization, debugging, integration testing, and documentation - Medical device industry experience
Involvement in DevOps and Agile practices
API Integration practices
Usage of AI tools during development
