Position Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT
Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Evening Swing Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 42.5 Hours per Week

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiographic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting while ensuring high-quality patient care and radiation safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
• Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI imaging experience required
• Strong CT and radiographic imaging skills required
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning required
• Experience with RIS documentation systems required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment
• Ability to participate in rotational weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
• Successful pre-employment health clearance required

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
• Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Operate CT and radiology equipment efficiently
• Select appropriate imaging exposure factors
• Maintain radiation safety and protection standards
• Process imaging studies and maintain accurate documentation
• Enter exam information into RIS systems
• Assist radiologists and physicians during imaging procedures
• Monitor imaging equipment and report malfunctions
• Maintain clean and organized imaging areas
• Support departmental workflow and imaging protocols

• Rotational weekends and holiday coverage required
• On-call responsibilities included
• Community imaging environment focused on patient safety and imaging quality
