Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift Contract
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekly Hours: 48
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-acuity hospital setting in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves providing advanced respiratory care in critical care and neuro diagnostic environments while supporting a multidisciplinary care team.
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to ICU and acute care patients
- Manage ventilator support, including setup, monitoring, adjustments, and weaning protocols
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpretation support
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory therapy interventions
- Assist in emergency airway management and code response situations
- Administer prescribed respiratory medications and treatments
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
- Support neuro diagnostics respiratory procedures as required
- Participate in patient transport and critical care transitions when needed
- Active Indiana RRT License
- NBRC (RRT) Certification required
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years Respiratory Therapy experience
- At least 18 months recent ICU experience
- Graduate of CoARC-accredited program (CHEA recognized institution preferred)
