Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Acute Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hot Springs, SD.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care using the nursing process
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in EPIC EMR
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care
• Prioritize patient care needs effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Follow infection control and patient safety standards consistently
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to assigned staff members
• Assist with orientation and training of new employees
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Promote teamwork and positive communication across departments

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in South Dakota or eligibility for reciprocity
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
