Engineering Assistant
We are seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented individual to support Engineering Services in our Iron Mountain office. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
Participating in bid assessment process
Prepare documents/instructions for customer
Schedule deliveries
Update production schedules
Enter components into bill of materials
Interface with Purchasing and Billing departments
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in technical or building trades preferred
Proficient in all MS Office
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, metal cutting/forming, assembly)
Ability to read schematic diagrams
Familiarity with computer-aided design is a plus
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, contract management software Soule is a plus
