Senior software engineer

Responsible for developing cohesive solutions to content based technical challenges. Hands on software development on TV platforms that drives multiple applications for some of the most popular global entertainment brands. Design, develop, test, deploy new solutions as well as maintaining, integrating and improving existing solutions. Work with the product team to understand and deliver on their requirements.Participate in preparing business cases, requirements documents and product roadmaps for the Android platform. Prepare architectural diagrams and technical specifications for the engineering team to deliver high quality, maintainable software and represent coding best practices through sharing expertise, performing code reviews, and mentoring engineers. Telecommuting permitted. Requirements: Masters degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or a related field and one (1) year of professional experience in offered job or as Software Engineer or closely related occupation. Must include one (1) year of experience developing and improving Android frameworks with deep knowledge of Android ecosystem (Kotlin, RxJava), Programming (Android SDK, Android NDK, Kotlin, Java, JNI, C, C++, J Unit), Web Technologies (HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XHTML), Debugging Tools (Log cat, DDMS, J Unit), Database (SQLite, MySQL), IDEs (Android Studio, Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, Microsoft Visual Studio), Version Control Tools (GIT, SVN) and Platforms (Windows, Linux, Android, Mac OS).
