Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Offset Press Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of press and finishing equipment within the forms area. This includes presses, collators, rotary die cutters, encoding systems, booklet makers, and related machinery. This role is essential to ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up, make-ready, adjust, and operate equipment to produce jobs efficiently and according to specifications
Review and interpret job tickets to determine quantity, stock type, and special instructions
Monitor production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and minimize downtime
Ensure all work meets company safety, quality, and productivity standards
Perform routine quality checks throughout the production process
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies

REQUIREMENTS:

Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate complex machinery quickly
Previous experience operating production or finishing equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and quality control
Strong math and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
Capable of maintaining high production rates while ensuring quality standards are met

SCHEDULE:
Full-time, Hourly, Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm

STARTING WAGE:
This is an hourly position and beginning wage will be in line with experience.
