responsibilities:

  • Execute precision tissue processing and embedding using both paraffin and frozen section techniques.
  • Perform high-quality tissue staining, including immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and standard histology.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize laboratory protocols to ensure highly reproducible, valid experimental results.
  • Collaborate closely with research teams to design experiments, analyze data, and interpret findings.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, results, and inventory in strict compliance with laboratory standards.
 
qualifications:
Required:

  • PhD or Master's degree in biology, biomedical sciences, or a related field (Bachelor's degree considered with significant relevant experience).
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tissue processing, embedding, and staining within a research or clinical lab setting.
  • Proficiency in histological techniques, including paraffin sectioning, cryosectioning, IHC, and IF.
  • Proven experience working with HPLC, ocular tissue, or skin tissue.
  • Strong attention to detail, laboratory safety compliance, and excellent collaborative communication skills.
Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies.
