Part-Time Direct Support Professional

Duties

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation (breakfast & lunch), and light cleaning ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors effectively.
• Facilitate participation in community outings, recreational activities, and social events to promote community integration.
• Collect data on progress, behaviors, and service delivery to inform care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral health needs is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must
• Compassion and positive interactions is a must
• To be able to follow directions and be a self-motivator
• Certified in 1st aid/cpr is a plus but will train if not
• Must pass a drug test and have a physical with TB prior to hire

Hours: Sat 7:00a - 3:00p & Sun. 7:00a - 3:00p
