In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized support to help individuals achieve greater independence, enhance their daily living skills, and participate actively in their communities. Duties
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation (breakfast & lunch), and light cleaning ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Facilitate participation in community outings, recreational activities, and social events to promote community integration.
- Collect data on progress, behaviors, and service delivery to inform care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral health needs is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must
- Compassion and positive interactions is a must
- To be able to follow directions and be a self-motivator
- Certified in 1st aid/cpr is a plus but will train if not
- Must pass a drug test and have a physical with TB prior to hire
Hours: Sat 7:00a - 3:00p & Sun. 7:00a - 3:00p
