About the Role: As a Cost Management Senior Analyst, you will collect, review, and present complex data that will assist with the development of multi-disciplined commercial real estate solutions.
This job is part of the Building Consultancy function. They are responsible for specialist building services including surveying, inspections, and planning.
What You’ll Do: • Assist with monthly forecasting and labor billing assessments and reporting of forecast cycles as repeatable programs, improving accuracy. • Prepare monthly finance deliverables such as labor billing, accruals to ensure Budget and forecast accountability and transparency. • Coordinate with Senior leadership to prepare quarterly forecasting process and assist in meeting all financial due dates for providing clear and efficient guidelines • Participate in process improvements of Finance tools and enhancement initiatives (i.e. reporting deliverables) where appropriate. • Track and analyze the actuals and forecasts compared to budgets for labor and overhead expenses, leading to enhanced cost controls. • Produce high-value estimates to aid feasibility studies and assist with business cases. Gather a range of information from advanced internal benchmarking to detailed market data. • Support Sr. project managers and leasing teams to estimate costs associated with the lease to optimize property owner contribution and tenant improvement allowances on behalf of the Client. • Level all bid responses and organize the data into a concise yet thorough report for presentation to the team. • Level all bid responses, organize data, and generate reports for executive management. • Review all estimates and change orders ensuring accuracy. • Evaluate all applied costs toward allowances, contingencies, and reserves. Ensure the cost plan is updated in the system accordingly. • Issue release of all withholdings and verify all funding approvals have been closed. • Capture project costs for contribution to cost benchmarking and estimating databases and tools. • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You’ll Need:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or other regulated environment experience is highly desirable.
