Traffic controller

* $25-28 an hour based on experience * Ongoing hours across multiple Christchurch based projects * PPE provided and further training for the correct candidates Traffic Controller | Traffic Management | Canterbury Temp- Temp To Perm | Multiple Clients and Projects Join trusted Traffic Management partners in Canterbury and play a key role in keeping Kiwi roads safe. With ongoing projects and long-term work in the pipeline, this role is a great step into the traffic management space with the opportunity to upskill and grow in the industry. A TTM-W ticket is required in order to pursue this traffic controller role. This is a varied role where each day is different - flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential. The Gig In this role, you will be working across Christchurch with positions available across the city assisting the STMS on site, maintaining site safety for other workers on site whilst also communicating with members of the public, other contractors and colleagues. The role is varied, with physical fitness required to lift cones, move sandbags, keep in communication with other traffic controllers, TMO's and STMS. Whilst also be comfortable standing on your feet for up to 12 hours per day. Excellent communication skills and strong English level is expected as you will be using radios to communicate to ensure safety is maintained. As these roles generally start at 5/6am each day, reliable transport is expected in all applicants, although we can assist with night shift at times as well.
