We are well known for producing work to an extremely high standard and pride ourselves on our friendly, supportive team environment. From domestic furniture restoration and commercial fit-outs to bespoke custom-made sofas, chairs, headboards, and ottomans—no two jobs are the same here. The Role We are looking for a quality, experienced tradesperson to join our busy team. Your primary focus will be on high-end furniture upholstery, custom builds, and restoration work. You could also be involved with marine and auto upholstery. We value great craftsmanship above all else and know that top-tier upholstery skills are highly transferable. Because of this, we are also very open to hearing from experienced marine or automotive upholsterers who are looking to bring their precision skills into the luxury furniture sector. You will be working with top-quality materials across a massive variety of rewarding projects, ensuring every piece reflects the premium quality Siba Design is known for. Key Responsibilities * Upholstery, reupholstery, and restoration of domestic and commercial furniture. * Working on bespoke custom builds, including sofas, chairs, ottomans, and headboards. * Pattern making, cutting, sewing, and fitting upholstery fabrics and leathers. * Ensuring accurate and economical use of high-end fabrics and products. * Working independently and unsupervised to meet project deadlines. What We Are Looking For Proven Experience: Confident and knowledgeable in upholstery techniques, with a strong background in furniture, marine, or auto upholstery. Technical Skills: Accomplished at pattern making, cutting, sewing, and fitting. Eye for Detail: Someone who takes immense pride in producing flawless, high-standard work. Attributes: Self-motivated, positive attitude, a good sense of humour to thrive in a busy workshop, and physically fit to handle the lifting and bending required. What’s on Offer?
